If you are planning on going to Hawaii, you probably are making a list of places to go see and activities to do. You need to include some of the national parks they have on your list. There are some sights to behold in these national parks. Of course you may not have time to travel to all of them. So put the four that are going to be listed below on your list, and you will have a good sample of what these parks have to offer you.

If you are planning on going to Hawaii, you probably are making a list of places to go see and activities to do. You need to include some of the national parks they have on your list. There are some sights to behold in these national parks. Of course you may not have time to travel to all of them. So put the four that are going to be listed below on your list, and you will have a good sample of what these parks have to offer you.

Haleakala National Park, Maui One national park you must visit is Haleakala national park in Maui. This park is where the Haleakala Crater is located, which is an active volcano. It is an exciting view to behold and you are sure to enjoy traveling up to the top of the crater.Throughout the park you'll find not only the volcano to visit, but beautiful streams and waterfalls, rich landscapes, and more. Be sure to enjoy beauty of the sunrise and sunsets in this park, since they are absolutely breathtaking.

Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, Hawaii's Big Island Another national park you'll definitely want to visit is the Hawaii Volcanoes national park on Hawaii's Big Island. The Kilauea Volcano is located here, which happens to be a very active volcano. There are 333,000 acres for you to explore and enjoy. It includes trails around the volcanoes, a walk right into a lava tube, journeys in the rain forest, and even a wonderful museum that you can enjoy as well.

Pearl Harbor National Historic Landmark, Oahu In Oahu you'll find the Pearl Harbor National Historic Landmark, another important national park to add to your itinerary while you are in the state of Hawaii. This is the park that is home to the USS Arizona Memorial. It was here that the United States was attacked by the Japanese on December 7, 1941. You'll also be able to visit the Battleship Missouri Memorial as well as the USS Bowfin Submarine Museum and park as well while you are here.

Then lastly we need to point out the Waimea Canyon State Park located on Kauai. This canyon is a sight that takes your breath away it is so beautiful. You can take the drive around the canyon and locate some great lookout places to enjoy the wonderful scenery. If you are an avid hiker you will find some hiking trails to enjoy, also if you are just a novice hiker there are some trails for you too.
